Kevin J. Butts, Chief Operating Officer/President of KS Credit Education Solutions, is one of the leading consumer credit and youth financial literacy experts in the nation. A Certified Professional Credit Executive through Credit Professional International Association, he has 16 years of experience in the consumer credit and finance fields. Kevin has held positions as a credit analyst, credit manager, branch manager, special finance manager, senior loan officer and mortgage loan officer. Kevin has appeared on several national and local radio broadcasts. Kevin graduated from the University of Alabama at Birmingham, where he earned his bachelor’s degree in Finance with a concentration in Investments & Financial Institutions. Currently, he is working on his master degree at University of Phoenix in Business Administration. Kevin is a member of Credit Professionals International, Urban Financial Coalition, and serves as a Human Services board member for Coalition on Temporary Shelter (COTS) and board member for the Southfield-Lathrup Optimist Club . He has also judged and mentored students on financial projects and competitions.
Sheila Butts, Chief Executive Officer of KS Credit Education Solutions, has more than 16 years of experience in education, counseling, sales, management and communications. Sheila conducts workshops on financial literacy, employability skills, corporate development and diversity training. Sheila has also coordinated college, education and career fairs, including financial aid workshops. Sheila is a Certified Credit Specialist through Credit Professional International Association and Consumer Credit Certification. She recently completed a branding class titled "Master of Your Game Branding and Marketing Mega Camp," offered by Gerry Foster and designed to help companies make their businesses stand out from their competitors. Sheila earned a bachelor’s degree in Communications with a minor in sociology from Western Michigan University and a master’s degree in Management/Human Resource from the University of Phoenix. Currently, she is working on her PhD at Capella University in Organization Management and Human Resource. Sheila is President of Women Entreprenuer Network (W.E.N) of Michigan. Sheila is a member of the Michigan Business Education Association (MBEA), National Association of African Americans in Human Resources (NAAHR) — Detroit Chapter,Society of Human Resource Management and DECA Alumni Association. As an alumnus of DECA — an Association for high school students interested in marketing, business and entrepreneurship — Sheila has judged DECA students for 12 years. Her judging expertise has been in the areas of team building, customer service, leadership, finance, e-commerce and more. Sheila is an instructor at a local Court Recording school and a community representative for the Wayne County Family to Family -Child & Family Services.
